Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Design, build, and support applications responsible for generating real time and official end of day prices and curves for all Rates products traded by the Rates business. Manage North American Interest Rate Pricing technology. Formulate both short term and strategic Book of Work for continuous improvement of the pricing capabilities in collaboration with the trading desk and the quantitative team. Identify the staffing requirements and technology spend. Define the number and the type of skills required for the team. Quantify the hardware and software spend in support of the pricing functionality. Ensure stability of production environment and timely tech mandatory updates implementation. Own projects delivery as defined in the Book of Work for the NAM Pricing team. Coach and educate team members on the specifics of the business requirements and best software development practices, as specifically applied to real time pricing. Monitor and update each team member's entitlements and access levels. Ensure the team's compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Work with traders to gather requirements for the feature being requested. Design how changes should be implemented within Graphite. Identify behaviors that do not meet business standards, determine the severity and communicate any impact to users as well as support. Lead investigations into any active issues to determine root cause. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent), in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Program Analyst, Applications Developer or related position for a global financial institution. 5 years of experience must include: Real time data processing using Direct Acyclic Graphs; Designing optimal graph structures for execution of calculations needed based on the change in inputs; Implementing Direct Acyclic Graph framework with Java; Knowledge of how rates curve construction methodologies and pricing methods are applied in the context of real time pricing based on a graph framework; Knowledge of pricing methodologies for cash products including U.S treasury bonds, treasury inflation protected securities (TIPS), to be announced (TBA) bonds, and Agency bonds; Controlling the flow of data between applications using ION SysAdmin; Maintaining Swap Curves using ION MMI; Using Dplayer script for ION environment configuration; Technologies used: Sybase, Oracle, ServiceNow, uDeploy, JIRA, TeamCity, BitBucket, Artifactory, Apache Flink, Chronicle Queue, Java Mission Control; and Datastores - ARK, RIO, GFI Net.
