Our Team:

Data AI contributes to the building of Bloomberg’s AI-enhanced products at scale by curating model training data and enhancing how our internal processes use AI. By investing in AI at a strategic level, we expand our practice of engaging with AI to one that is embedded across Data. We encourage our internal processes to take advantage of new AI technologies and strengthen Data’s role in providing robust domain expertise and influential data artifacts to Bloomberg’s products. This way, our clients will continue to have high quality data and access to new types of datasets.

What's the Role?

We are looking for an AI Human-in-the-loop (HiTL) Platform Product Manager to join our Data department. You will be responsible for owning the product vision and driving the strategy and execution of AI within Data products on the Bloomberg terminal. You will help transform our Data department by inventing and applying AI technology, collaborating with top-notch AI and engineering teams. You will also act as the product manager to coordinate the efforts across Data, Engineering, and AI to drive innovation for our HiTL annotation teams. You will get deeply involved in the end to end process from idea generation to model development and production deployment.

We'll Trust You To:

  • Translate strategic priorities into a product roadmap and craft detailed product specifications by laying out a vision, defining and communicating the strategic vision for IE solutions aligning with needs, priorities, and goals

  • Engage partners and subject matter experts in a highly matrixed organization including departments such as Data, Product, and Engineering to understand requirements to gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals

  • Work across the business, engineering, and product organizations to complete the greater roadmap

  • Collaborate with AI, engineering and data teams to define implementation plans, prioritize work items, triage issues, and run meetings

  • Develop metrics to supervise and measure the impact of new processes to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and impact of new HiTL platform features against operational goals, iterating and optimizing based on feedback and results

  • Make decisions and recommendations backed by data, evidence, and pragmatic judgment

  • Maintain an interest in generative AI techniques, algorithms, and technologies that apply to HiTL workflows, staying abreast of the last advancement in the field

You'll Need to Have:

  • 4+ years of experience working on platform products or internal tools for annotation workflows

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field

  • Interest in artificial intelligence, including generative AI and large language models

  • Ability to effectively articulate a product vision and strategy

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams to translate product vision into actionable requirements

  • Experience with developing product requirements documents, product roadmaps, and associated artifacts

  • Experience performing research, developing a deep understanding of the business opportunities, working with and eliciting information from diverse groups of partners and developing clear technical, actionable requirements

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including developing strategic visions for products

Salary Range: 110,000 - 170,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
