Description

The AWS Partner Organization (APO) aims to provide a cohesive and exceptional experience for customers working with our extensive network of over 100,000 partners. In this role, you will work closely with partner executives, AWS sales and partner leaders, and other key stakeholders to drive AWS adoption in Growth Accounts. You'll be responsible for finding the right intersection between our goals and our partners' capabilities, with a strong emphasis on accounts with high growth potential in named industry vertical (s). This will include collaborating with partners to drive revenue growth, AWS adoption, and customer success in enterprise accounts.

We're seeking a self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional counterparts, and thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. Demonstrating sound judgment, strong relationship-building capabilities, and skilled negotiation skills will be critical for success in this position.

Key job responsibilities

Your key objectives will include:

  • Identify and target high-priority growth companies within key industry verticals viz. FSI, CPG/Retail, Energy & Utilities and Auto & Mfg. with the goal of accelerating their cloud usage

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS Industry, Sales, Partnerships, and Services teams to align on go-to-market strategies, partner engagement, and customer enablement for each target industry

  • Leverage industry knowledge, prioritized use cases and data-driven insights to prioritize high-impact opportunities and optimize resource allocation

  • Establish accountability and continuous support with partner’s industry practice leaders and sales teams to drive to progress opportunities towards wins

  • Closely monitor partner pipeline, performance metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform program enhancements

  • Foster a culture of innovation, execution and continuous improvement within the initiative team

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience Identifying and target high-priority growth companies within key industry verticals viz. FSI, CPG/Retail, Energy & Utilities and Auto & Mfg. with the goal of accelerating their cloud usage

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with AWS Industry, Sales, Partnerships, and Services teams to align on go-to-market strategies, partner engagement, and customer enablement for each target industry

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across international teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
