We are looking for you to join our collaborative team as an entry level Accounts Receivable Clerk. On-the-job training is provided.Our Core ValuesOur PeopleRelationshipsInnovationSustainabilityGrowthDetermination Accounts Receivable Clerk Responsibilities and Duties : Perform invoice creation, credit memos, and cash receipt postingMonitor customer account details for non-payments and perform timely collection effortsProcess all customer payments accurately and efficientlyCommunicate with internal staff regarding customer payments and any issues that might prevent a timely resolutionResearch billing issues/discrepancies and make account adjustmentsPrepare reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profilesAnalyze financial records for accuracyPrepare and mail invoices to customersAccounts Receivable Clerk Basic Qualifications :Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formatsStrong mathematical skills and attention to detailAbility to organize and prioritize tasksComputer savvyExperience with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel (basic knowledge)Strong customer service skills with the ability to follow up High School diploma or equivalentAbility to work well in a team environmentEager to learnValid and clean NYS driver's license to make trips to the bank and post office as neededPhysical Ability Requirements:Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (with accommodations upon request)Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time (with accommodations upon request)Positions are Monday to Friday.
