Aerotek Mechanic in New Hartford, New York

Description:

Construction team with a location near New Hartford, NY is in search of mechanics to join their growing service team. Mechanics will work in the local shop maintaining and repairing various equipment.

In house training and benefits will be provided upon hire! 401k and profit sharing available! No travel necessary.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Preventative maintenance and repair on construction equipment and fleet vehicles

  • Equipment diagnostics

  • Proper documentation of all repairs

  • Inventory of parts needed for repair

Skill Recommendations:

  • Previous experience in the repair of machinery - automotive repair, military equipment repair, heavy equipment repair, manufacturing machine repair

  • High mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to use various hand tools

  • Access to personal tools beneficial but not mandatory. Tools can also be provided

Additional Information:

  • Benefits available upon hire

  • Profit sharing

  • 401k

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

  • Pay: $20-$25/hr based on experience

  • Will work in a shop environment with no travel required.

  • Overtime optional and not mandatory
