Actalent Civil Construction Engineer- Military Projects in New Castle, Delaware
Description:
- An engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Construction Engineer to sit out of their office in either New Castle, DE or Dover, DE. The Civil Construction Engineer will primarily work on federal projects within the Military Engineering group.
Responsibilities:
- Work with an established team of architects and engineers to prepare civil design plans, coordinate with review agencies to ensure designs are compliant with land use, stormwater erosion and sediment control, access, and military guidelines. Participate in pre-bid meetings, prepare addenda, and respond to contractor questions, and provide engineering construction support during the construction phase.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related Engineering field.
At least 1+ year of experience preferred- will consider internship experience.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
EIT or PE preferred, but not required.
Ability to perform site design, grading, and geometric analysis.
