Adecco US, Inc. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Coordinator in New Brunswick, New Jersey

A leading University in New Brunswick is seeking a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Program Coordinator. This is a 6 months temp to perm position and will support a diversity initiative. Title: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Coordinator

Pay rate: $30/hr - $40/hr (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 500 pm

Location: New Brunswick

Duties include but not limited to the following;

  • Develop and institute strategies for engagement in DEI.

  • Assists with the creation and coordination of communication and distribution of DEI resources. creation of presentation and training materials to support DEI efforts

  • Organizes and oversees the coordination of DEI events, training, workshops, seminars and symposiums

  • Coordinates administrative needs for DEI program, including meeting set up, material prep, communication reminders, vendors, and employee activities.

  • Supports development, reporting, and metrics forecast for DEI programs and activities.

  • Manages and responds to internal inquiries about DEI initiatives and activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred.

  • Experience in program development, needs assessment and evaluation preferred.

  • Experience in rolling out diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives would be ideal. Candidates with experience in implementing other related programs such as HR initiatives will also be considered.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the issues surrounding access, equity, diversity, inclusion, implicit bias and institutional racism.

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience in working effectively and influencing decision makers with a variety of personalities in a fast-paced, progressive environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner. Careful attention to detail, accuracy in performing job duties and acts with a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism and a positive outlook.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
