DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job ID: 493151
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES This position requires the Operator skills needed to assist our asphalt paving crews in various types of projects, including operating various pieces of equipment used in the hot mix asphalt paving and construction division including, but not limited to asphalt and dirt rollers and responsibilities can be extended based on experience and ability.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Operating roller compaction equipment needed in support of hot mix asphalt paving of roads, highways, and parking lots.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates heavy mobile equipment, works outside in varied weather conditions that may be hot and humid, cold and icy, rainy and wet. The noise level in the work environment may be high.
