We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This position is based in New Braunfels, TX and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager – Servtex Quarry.

What you’ll get to do

  • Plan and direct the maintenance operations of a crushing/screening plant.

  • Effectively and proactively administer Heidelberg Materials safety program ensuring compliance with MSHA rules and regulations.

  • Hire, develop, engage, and retain a competent and reliable maintenance team.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of quarry equipment, including crushers, conveyors, loaders, and heavy machinery.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules

  • Ensure plant and mobile equipment is kept in good and safe working condition to maximize asset throughput.

  • Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Prior experience managing an electrical, mechanical, or maintenance staff

  • 5 or more years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing, preferably in a quarry or mining environment

  • Strong understanding of preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance techniques and technologies

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate others

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment (crushers, loaders, etc)

  • Strong communication skills to ensure coordination of work and completion of tasks

  • Computer proficient, particularly Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Experience managing vendors and contractors

  • SAP

Work Environment

  • Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
