A key role in assisting the sales team, the Project Sales Application Engineer/Specialist prepares sales proposals for Motion Drive Products in New Berlin, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and project management of custom Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) quotes and orders for the water and wastewater market, in Drives Products in the US(United States), ensuring quotations and submittals are provided accurately, timely and with consideration for proper municipal requirements. You will provide specification review and interpretation, custom quotations, channel training, application assistance, harmonic calculations and project management of custom quotations.This is a position with global grade 13Your responsibilities Assist and lead commercial water and wastewater channel partners on projects by providing VFD submittals and resubmittals, harmonic calculations, quotations, specification reviews Coordinate proper governmental order procedures and policies for any sales to federal, state or municipal entities, ensuring each project is properly managed and reviewed to ensure compliance to governmental rules and regulations Be well informed about current industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the water and wastewater industry and the commercial bid process Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows Prepare and present trainings, reports and white papers to internal ABB employees and channel partners Develop positive relationships with channel partners, OEMs(Original Equipment Manufacturers) and ABB employees Collaborate and support engineering team members in W&WW,...
