Join us as our new QC Lab Technician
The position works under general supervision as part of a team responsible for the quality control processes performed in a GMP-compliant manufacturing facility. All team members must be mindful of production timelines while supporting the achievement of quality, safety, sales and production goals.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
Performing quality control testing and environmental monitoring in line with SOPs and Work Instructions.
Participating in safety programs and adhering to safety guidelines.
Utilizing aseptic techniques for media and equipment sterility.
Conducting routine calibrations and verifications of lab equipment.
Completing necessary documentation, including production journals and batch records.
Recording all test results and analyses in the company database.
Communicating test discrepancies to QC Management and other relevant parties.
Assisting in staff training and maintaining a clean lab environment.
To succeed you must hold:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or related field (Preferred)
A basic understanding of microbiology, chemistry and practical application of general laboratory skills
Excellent communication, organizational, planning, problem-solving and follow-up skills
The ability to handle multiple, rapidly changing priorities and handle unanticipated events without losing sight of core responsibilities
Incorporate a sense of urgency for initiation, completion, and communication of testing results and findings
Work effectively as an individual or team player in a diverse work group
Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet goals and ensure product quality
