How you’ll spend your day
Prepare strategies and planning all the technologies and activities for scaling up all new projects developed by R&D ensuring that all quality, efficiency, safety, and regulatory requirements are satisfied
E2E responsibility for all engineering aspects of the new and pipeline products
responsible for planning and leading process parameters development and scale-up including transfer of the new products into manufacturing
Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to achieve quality and right-first-time production goals
Develop technical aspects and methodology for new technologies starting from development and up to the production stage
Develop and maintained safety procedures to ensure a safe environment in chemical labs and facilities
Responsible for leading, training, and capability building of practical engineers' team
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with other R&D units, production, and Pharma.
Monitor KPIs to assess performance
Responsibility for expenses to the meet annual plan
Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related discipline required (master's preferred)
Experience with Oligonucleotide/ Peptide upstream and downstream processes in the pharmaceutical industry (advantage)
Experience with Design of Experiments and computational tools (advantage)
Engineering and scale-up expertise to advance and complete chemical processes into a product
Expertise with engineering design and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in a regulated industry
Excellent technical skills with good orientation to new technologies and computational tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships both internal and external
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to lead processes in the R&D and production setting
Fluent communication in English
