Hydra-Tech Pumps Welder Fabricator in NESQUEHONING, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

  • Use proper techniques to create quality weldments of carbon steel. Stainless and aluminum
  • Use shop equipment to manufacture and fabricate finished products.
  • Accurately follow blueprints to meet customer specifications.
  • Calculate material measurements to verify requirements.
  • Follow testing procedures to evaluate weld quality and size tolerances.
  • Assist in other areas of manufacturing and assembly.

?Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) with MIG and Tig welding in a production environment.
  • Attentive to detail in all aspects of welding and fabrication
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, including welding symbols and nomenclature.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Desire to serve customers by creating high quality products.
  • Must be reliable and invested in performing at a high level.
  • Provide basic tools for welding and fabrication.
  • Able to follow instructions and learn from constructive criticism.

Other Duties

  • Interact with team members in a courteous and professional manner.  
  • Serves as a voluntary member of various employee and organizational committees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

     

Equipment Used

Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials. 

Equipment Used

Welding machines, including Tig and Mig welder.  Operate all fabrication equipment, including but not limited to brake, shear, welders, plasma cutter, various saws, drill presses forming equipment and other tools and equipment as required. 

Physical Requirements

Lifting up to 50lbs regularly and 150 lbs occasionally (with help), pushing, pulling, standing for long periods of time, manual dexterity, visual acuity.
