Provides support for manufacturing processes, validation and implementation of changes in processes and products, updating manufacturing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve manufacturing processes using engineering methods (for example, LEAN methods, basic statistics) for the continuous improvement of the process.

• Assist basic tests and experiments (including writing and execution of protocols) to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations and develop reports

• Analyze and solve basic manufacturing and compliance problems (for example, CAPA, non-conformities, audit observations ).

• Ensure that the processes under your property comply with current practices through the process of change control.

• Support training and documentation materials (for example, work instructions) for production in order to allow the uninterrupted transfer of knowledge of the manufacturing processes and projects.

• Identify opportunities for the redesign / design of basic equipment, tools, accessories, etc. to improve manufacturing processes

• Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related field no experience Required

Previous experience working with laboratory / industrial equipment Preferred

CAD experience Preferred

Additional Skills:

• Good computer skills in the use of MS Office Suite

• Basic documentation, communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills

• Basic knowledge of statistical techniques

• Good understanding and knowledge of principles, theories and concepts relevant to Engineering.

• Good problem solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Good knowledge of the processes and equipment used in the assigned work

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

• Ability to manage competitive priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage suppliers and project stakeholders

• Ability to build productive internal / external productive relationships

• Ability to comply with the standards, regulations, procedures and quality manuals applicable to Edwards Lifesciences

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
