We are partnered with a reputable company to offer an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accounting Clerk. As an entry-level Accounting Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team and gaining hands-on experience in transactional accounting processes. This is a contract or contract-to-hire position, offering the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and expand your skill set in accounting.
Responsibilities:
Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
Assist with reconciling bank statements and other financial documents
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
Support various administrative duties within the finance department
Learn and apply basic accounting principles in day-to-day tasks
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in data entry with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting profession
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus
