Insight Global Remote QA Analyst in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Description

A company in the music industry is hiring for a QA Analyst to help spearhead and develop testing framework for a new product team. This product does performance matching and utilizes AI/ML components. It is heavy backend and data. The data is being migrated from a mainframe into a cloud environment. This team is working towards building out a new product to better utilize the data.

 1. Provides technical leadership on all assigned projects to ensure delivery of valuable solutions in alignment with business needs, automation platform architecture, and overall SDLC. This includes understanding business requirements, adhering to QA best practices and standards, recommending technical direction, monitoring testing efforts, resolving technical issues, making technical decisions, and supporting deployment of the product.

 2. Demonstrate expertise and leadership in developing, coordinating and executing detailed QA and UAT test plans/data/cases for user acceptance testing based on the companys agile methodology standards.

 3. Develop and maintain automation testing.

 4. Define and maintain testing standards and methodologies.

 5. Maintain the TST/QA environment in conjunction with the companys Infrastructure resources.

 6. Participate, and lead, in all aspects of the companys software development methodology: define, develop, and deploy.

 7. Prepare training materials, conduct user training, and maintain system documentation.

 8. Provide regular verbal and written status reports to management.

 9. Participate in multiple, concurrent projects of varying sizes and complexities.

 10. Participate in technical logic and design discussions.

 11. Create, maintain, and present technical documentation for/to various audiences.

 12. Coordinate application bug tracking system and process.

 13. Ensure the completeness of all required documentation.

 14. Review applications for adherence to business requirements.

Skills and Requirements

4-7 years of QA experience

Experience in agile or scrum environments

Experience building out testing frameworks from scratch

Experience with both automation and manual testing

Experience with UFT, HP, QuickTestPro, or other automation testing tools

Experience with ETL testing, heavy backend, and Devops functionality

Passionate about the work and ability to work well in a team Python skills

Experience building out testing framework in cloud environments

Experience testing ML/AI

Experience in the music industry null
