Job Title: Mechanical Field Product Certification Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanical Field Product Certification Technician, where you will be responsible for planning and conducting surveillance inspections in line with scheduling requirements. Your role will primarily involve remote preparations, documentation, and planning for inspection visits. You will document manufacturers' production and quality processes, review production tests, equipment used, and calibration for residential and commercial listed manufactured products, sub-assemblies, and components based on Certification Documents. Additionally, you will manage ETL label inventory and control, address non-compliance issues from previous inspections, and document unresolved matters. Selecting samples as directed and documenting compliance and non-compliance found during inspections is crucial. You will advise clients on proper resolutions, complete and submit Follow-up Service Inspection Reports for each client inspected, and maintain communication between facility representatives and our company personnel. Managing expenses within given guidelines and performing other tasks as required are also key components of this role.

Work Site
This is a fully remote position - will be driving to client sites but the rest of the time you would be at home planning for your next visits/traveling days.
Work Environment
This full-time role requires managing approximately 40-50 clients per quarter, with work split between job-sites and home. The position entails significant at-home work, preparing for job-site visits and documentation. Local travel within a specific market is common, though occasional overnight stays or multiple-hour drives may be necessary. The role offers a flexible work schedule and the ability to work from home, accommodating 36-40 hours per week for individuals.
