We have recently implemented an improved wage structure | | including an sign on bonus for qualified candidates. | | | | The Layout Machinist will be responsible for the layout, fabricating, | | hand burring and finishing of sheet metal, extrude parts at bench or | | on the assembly line, set up and operate various types and sizes of | | routers to cut and mill extrusions, sheet metal, rolled section to | | size. The Layout Machinist plays a critical role in producing quality | | aerospace parts where customer requirements and delivery schedule is | | a priority. | | | | Job Responsibilities | | | | - Planning, laying out and performing all job operations on various | | size sheet metal and extruded parts. | | - Selects and installs proper cutting tools for router | | - Uses machine tools to work to close tolerance such as drill | | press, arbor press, bench grinder, router, etc. | | - Inspects work in progress as well as finished product.
