Adecco US, Inc. Engineering Lab Supervisor in Nashville, Tennessee
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a key manufacturing client to find an Engineering Lab Supervisor in Nashville, TN. This role will provide leadership and training for Lab Technicians and work closely with the Engineering team to develop and test products and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely progression through the lab
Develop testing protocols and schedules with the engineering team.
Supervise support staff on project teams for data analysis and processing.
Analyze project instructions to determine test specifications and objectives.
Record and analyze test results and communicate findings to the engineering team.
Follow diagrams and instructions to assemble and test equipment units.
Assist in the testing process and offer input for enhancing the performance of the equipment.
Collect data during tests to help in the development, standardization, and quality assurance of the equipment.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
Acquire in-depth knowledge of ANSI, UL, and EC standards
Operate and maintain lab equipment effectively
Train and guide other lab technicians
Conduct certification tests under agency guidelines
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Engineering or related field
7+ years of relevant work experience preferred (or a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience)
Knowledge of fabrication processes, including welding, machining, and metalworking
Familiarity with CSA, ANSI, UL, and EC standards preferred.
EPA/Technician Certification or ability to become certified.
