What We Need:

The Nashville Podcast Network is looking for a skilled Audio/Video Producer to join their creative team that produces a wide range of digital content including podcasts, vodcasts, social media content, etc. The audio/video producer that fills this position will be capable in all formats but especially in the capturing and editing of audio and video. The producer will report to the Nashville Podcast Network Executive Producer and must work well with a team of podcasters who take pride in their work and in representing the Nashville Podcast Network brand.

What You'll Do:

Podcast Production –

  • Managing the taping of shows such as directing, board operation, file management, crew management, etc.

  • Sound design, stingers and audio drops to enhance the podcast-listening experience.

  • Audio vetting, audio editing primarily using Adobe Audition, formatting and audio mastering to ensure the highest quality of content.

  • Final packaging and distribution of shows: uploading/scheduling podcast episodes for release with necessary ad markers, advertisement fulfillment, etc.

  • Quality control. Audio vetting and discernment.

Video Production –

  • Producing, shooting and editing (using Adobe Premiere or similar software) high-quality, long & short-form videos in a wide range of styles in the field and in-studio, including artist interviews, talent focused shoots, graphic videos, etc.

  • Cut versions of videos for each major platform.

  • Video formatting to ensure viewing compatibility and video mastering to ensure the highest-quality viewing experience.

  • Uploading/scheduling full episode distribution/ clips across YouTube and other social media platforms.

  • Devise unique, creative ideas for new video features, content and enhancements that advance objectives and strategic plan.

  • Work with on-camera talent and other production staff to craft ideas into engaging & repeatable series and one-off videos.

  • Quality control. Footage vetting and discernment.

What You'll Need:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social networking platforms, Google Analytics, or similar tools and ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, delivering high quality results under the pressure of deadlines, with routinely quick turnaround times.

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail and high work standards.

  • Flexibility; able to shift gears quickly.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, independently, and under close direction.

  • College Degree preferred.

  • 2+ years relevant experience creating social first videos.

  • Experience creating long & short-form video for platforms including Facebook, YouTube and, Instagram.

  • Track record of creating video that grows and engages social audiences organically.

  • Familiarity with motion graphics and After Effects preferred.

  • Background in studio and field production required.

  • Knowledge of social media video best practices, landscape and ability to recognize stories that will drive views and shares.
