Lockheed Martin Ground Support Mechanic - 2nd Shift in NAS Pax River, Maryland

Description: Will perform maintenance and inspections on Integrated Test Force (ITF) Support Equipment and other assigned items. Will diagnose and troubleshoot defective items and components. Will enter data into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as labor and tasks are performed.

Must be able to attend training and be certified on the equipment that will be supported.

Possess an ability to work in a diverse work culture and environment.

Must have and hold a valid Drivers License.

Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with understanding and working level knowledge of Aerospace Ground Support Equipment.

- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, refrigerant, pneumatic and electrical systems

- Experience with reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings, blueprints, flow charts, schematics, drawings and diagrams.

- . Experience with Maintenance systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions and Aircraft Forms.

- Experience in Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, Training, and Security Programs.

Desired Skills:

Previous Support Equipment maintenance at a flight test program or military aircraft organization. Must have previous mechanical history

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
