Ford Motor Company Side Closure Architecture in Nanjing, China
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
•Coordinating the design and development of Body Closure sheet metal components
•Planning for structure of vehicle body packaging, manufacturing, craftsmanship, and style feasibility
•Create and modify design of body parts to meet all engineering requirements, up through and including scheduling and releasing drawings
•Follow responsible parts through validation and launch including problem solving of technical issues
•Proactively improve design cost, quality, function, and weight for responsible models in production
•Execute design in CAD by instruction to CAD modeler or supplier engineer
•Lead and participate in cross functional decision making teams
•Participate in evaluation and manufacturing activities at the event location
