- Set tools and materials up each day, such as shovels, post-hole diggers, hammers, and saws
- Operate and maintain powered equipment, including mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, etc.
- Assist senior team members with motorized machinery, including a Ditch Witch and Skid Steer
- Use hand tools, including shovels, rakes, saws, trimmers, etc.
- Haul/Spread topsoil and mulch; spread straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines; install sprinkler lines, heads, and valves; install barriers
- Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, grass, trees, shrubs, etc.
- Water/Irrigate lawns, trees, and plants; prune trees, shrubs, and hedges; mix and spray/spread fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to promote plant health
- Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, mowing, and edging
- Maintain landscape irrigation systems by doing the following:
\> Winterize the systems
\> Repair the irrigation equipment over winter
\> Prepare systems for spring set-up, and
\> Start the systems up in spring
- Operate snowblower and four-wheeler with blade for snow removal at worksites; shovel sidewalks to remove snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots; and spread salt on the area
- Clean facilities and worksites; remove trash /litter, clippings/trimmings, and debris from worksites and dispose of it.
Daily transportation is provided by the employer from a central location to/from jobsites within the area of intended employment; all located within commuting distance. Daily travel within the commuting area from the company\'s business location to client jobsite addresses to perform landscaping duties within a 60-mile radius of the main office at 16131 Franklin Blvd, Nampa, ID 83687. All jobsites are located in Ada or Canyon Counties in the State of Idaho.
