Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Network Contract Manager in the healthcare industry. This telecommute role is based in Murrieta, California and involves remote work with potential travel to provider offices as necessary. As a Network Contract Manager, you will be tasked with managing various projects and negotiating contracts within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
• Negotiate contracts within the managed care setting, ensuring all agreements are beneficial and compliant with industry standards.
• Build and maintain provider networks, optimizing their function and efficiency. • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to ensure all contract details are clear and agreed upon.
• Support workstation operations and maintain a detail-oriented phone presence at all times.
• Utilize healthcare-specific platforms such as HealthCare.gov and TRICARE to manage contracts and provider networks.
• Travel as necessary to meet with providers and negotiate contracts.
• Participate in video interviews and meetings, demonstrating excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Manage offshore contracting as necessary, ensuring all contracts adhere to international standards and regulations.
• Utilize strong written communication skills to draft and finalize contracts and other essential documents.
• Provide regular updates and reports on contract negotiations and provider network statuses.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of managed care contracting experience.
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining provider networks.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to provider offices as necessary.
