WSP Environment & Infrastructure has a career opportunity for a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to join our Murray, UT team to support construction materials testing for mining, transportation and other construction related projects.

Your Impact

• Will perform asphalt, soil, aggregate, concrete, and material testing primarily

• Operate construction materials laboratory testing equipment

• Perform analysis and/or calculations to check accuracy of test data

• Data input for report preparation and submittal to clients

• Perform equipment calibrations as needed

• Perform maintenance on equipment as needed

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 0-2 years construction lab experience

• Ability to read & interpret specifications

• Current valid driver’s license

• Ability to lift 50 pounds - Will routinely lift and carry materials and equipment

• Must pass background check and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel

• ACI Strength Testing Technician

• UDOT Laboratory Accreditations
