Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking several Quality Control associates for a short term project. As a Quality Control Associate you will be part of the packaging department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Control
Location: Murray, KY
Pay Rate: $15.50/ hour
What's the Job?
Remove inferior quality product from the production line
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and work in accordance with all safety regulations
Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF Systems
Utilize packaging specifications to verify necessary packaging, code date requirements, stack off pattern, and number of cases per pallet
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to understand general arithmetic; speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations
Ability to understand computer applications
Ability to walk/stand approximately 50% of the time and lift up to 30 pounds approximately 15% of the time and up to 11 pounds approximately 50% of the time
