Your responsibilities.
The SFS Discovery Lab as part of the SFS Innovation Hub, seeks a Senior Data Scientist/AI Strategist (f/m/d) who wants to play a proactive role in crafting the digitalization and innovation journey of SFS.
As part of the central Strategic Development department, the Innovation Hub consists out of two outstanding teams ("Discovery Lab" and "Business Model Innovation"). Together, they are at the forefront of incubating new business models, exploring innovative technologies and representing a Center of Excellence for AI within Siemens Financial Service
Lead and actively contribute to different innovative use cases at an early maturity level with a special focus on AI
Support our SFS businesses and functions to understand how they can use (Gen)AI to tackle their challenges, e.g. with training offerings
Work closely with our partners to identify key business problems and translating their requirements into AI-driven solutions
Engage in the whole data analytics journey including exploratory data analyses, data preparation, implementation of machine learning models and application of pretrained (Gen)AI model via API to extract valuable insights from structured and unstructured data
You stay current with industry trends and new technologies, finding opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the financial market
Your Qualifications.
The foundation for your success is a Master’s degree in statistics, data science, computer science, a related technical field or comparable
With longterm experience as an AI consultant you specialize in prioritizing client satisfaction and collaborating closely with non-technical partners to convert their requirements into AI-driven solutions
Have a minimum of five years of direct involvement in the development of machine learning solutions, ideally either in the financial industry or within consulting
Proficient in Python, with expertise in libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas andequivalent frameworks
Familiarity with GenAI and LLMs is highly advantageous as well as prior exposure to cloud-based platforms and services (e.g.:AzureML Document Intelligence)
Proven teamwork skills with outstanding interpersonal and collaboration abilities are as important as
Experience in project management, particularly in an international setting
