Overview of FTO Central PMO
Finance Transformation Office (‘FTO’) has been setup in 1Q 2021 to conceptualize, plan, drive and manage execution of many streams of Transformation Initiatives across Citi’s Finance organization globally.
These Initiatives touch all of Citi businesses and functions within ICG and GCB and are categorized into 5 key areas – Finance Data, Financial Book & Records, Stress Testing & Business Planning, Financial Reporting and Financial Resource Management functions (such as Capital Planning, IRR, Liquidity etc.) There are numerous programs and projects under the umbrella of each Initiative which will need to be successfully executed over the coming 24-36 months to achieve desired target state operating model.
Central PMO team is created under the FTO PMO structure and will play vital role in facilitating successful execution of the agenda of these Transformation Initiatives and its governance.
The individual in this role will work as part of the overall FTO, collaborating with each initiative team, business/function, Technology partners, Regional teams and the Transformation Program Office (‘TPO’) of overall Citi CAO team, to co-ordinate and track actions towards achieving the overall transformation goals and operating model.
Responsibilities:
Support development and Maintenance of detailed Transformation project plans along with intra-dependencies (within Finance) and inter-dependencies (with other Program Groups, Technology teams and businesses)
Work with the Initiative PMO teams to keep the respective Transformation plans up to date across all geographies and portfolios
Track progress based on the agreed Metrics for reporting progress vs the approved timelines
Ensure timely execution as per weekly cadence for Management status dashboards to provide early executive visibility and to ensure quality of submissions to regulators as per overall timelines
Engage stakeholders within Finance, Technology and Business for input/consultation, communicating any emerging risks, resource constraints and then develop corresponding mitigation plans, for review by FTO Management
Identify barriers for stalled deliverables and dependencies by working with initiative teams in a collaborative manner and escalate as and when necessary
Execute as per the framework developed by FTO, for change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans across the project teams
Qualification
8+ years of work experience with significant part of that focused on Project Management, transformation and Governance initiatives preferably in Financial Services / Banks, with global exposure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to facilitate group discussions to collaborate with participants across the end-to-end process and present work progress and results.
Skilled in creating storyboards for presentation to seniors to build consensus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Willingness to ask questions and ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts and requirements, related to product and process knowledge.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of various parts of a project/initiative, and following through until resolution.
Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio.
