Microsoft Corporation Security Assurance Program Manager in Multiple Locations, United States

We are looking for a motivated Security Assurance Program Manager to join our team and help us scale critical security assurance programs. In this role, you will work alongside a team of security professionals and play a critical role in protecting Microsoft and our millions of customers and their data from security threats. Your responsibilities will include supporting security compliance through data and telemetry that you acquire and curate, providing reports and actionable insights that transform the way we work, contributing to tools that integrate with engineering systems, and promoting consistent best practices to ensure that Microsoft's security approach addresses both current and emerging security issues.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be involved in maintaining engineering security requirements, using data to build understanding around security risk and have opportunities to contribute to open-source projects that improve security. Responsibilities

• Using data provided or acquired, develop KPIs to drive action to improve the security posture of Microsoft products and services.

• Champion automation and telemetry investments and new product features which reduce cost and increase security readiness across Microsoft.

• Work with partners to establish workflows and integrations that provide the right security information to the right teams at the right time.

• Contribute to Microsoft’s core engineering security requirements (including the Security Development Lifecycle), ensuring they stay relevant as technologies, the threat landscape and development methodologies change over time.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection

o OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field

o OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection

o OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field

o OR equivalent experience.

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, Security+ Certification, or relevant certification.

Security Assurance IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
