We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, visionary, collaborative, and results-oriented product manager to define/deliver a region/zone roadmap and HW capacity/capex plan that supports customer workload requirements, optimizes for revenue/margin targets and meets the expectations of a diverse set of leadership stakeholders. You’ll define the planning principles, inputs, strategy, and roadmap and work with a diverse set of teams across Azure to ensure successful implementation end-to-end. The results of your work will have a broad customer and Microsoft impact. Your role will require deep collaboration across Azure product groups, Customers, Sales teams, Finance, and Supply chain to deliver success for Azure in Workload-optimized solutions. This role requires a multi-disciplinary skill set combining a high degree of competence in the areas of product, finance, analytics, and supply chain, strategic communications, and communications with regards to stakeholder partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Impact and grow the Azure M series business by supporting the success of some of the most important customers and partners, driving innovation and thought leadership.

  • Collaborate across Azure product groups, Customers, Sales teams, Finance, and Supply chain to deliver workload-optimized solutions for Azure.

  • Define and deliver a region/zone roadmap and hardware capacity/capex plan that supports customer workload requirements, optimizes for revenue/margin targets and meets the expectations of a diverse set of leadership stakeholders.

  • Drive insights from customer engagements to influence future product and feature releases.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in product/service/project/program managemen or software development

  • OR eqivalent experience.

  • Technical aptitude and customer obsession with a bias towards action with flexibility to learn and apply learning to improve business outcomes.

  • Stakeholder management along with solid communications skills.

  • Skilled in partnering and influencing system engineers, computer architects, hardware design engineers and executives  with effective verbal and written communication skills 

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
