Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and flows and electronic design automation (EDA) tools and methodologies.
6 years of experience in people management and developing employees on a Physical Design CAD team.
Experience with Python.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or a related field.
16 years of experience in physical design CAD.
Experience with advanced nodes (e.g., 3nm, 2nm).
Familiarity with design for testability (DFT) methodologies.
Knowledge of low-power design techniques.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Physical Design CAD Manager to lead our physical design team and drive the development of advanced integrated circuits. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the physical design flow, from netlist to GDSII, and will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-performance, low-power PDCAD flow.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$266,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Lead and mentor a team of physical design engineers.
Drive the development and execution of the physical design flow, from netlist to GDSII.
Oversee floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and optimization. Perform physical verification, including Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), and timing analysis.
Collaborate with design, Physical design, IT/infrastructure teams to ensure successful CAD flow.
Develop and maintain PDCAD methodologies and flows. Evaluate and introduce new CAD tools and technologies including AI/ML.
