FocusKPI Inc. GL Accountant II in Mountain View, California
FocusKPI is looking for a GL Accountant to join the one of our clients, a high-tech, SaaS company.
Work Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay Range: $40/hr to $45/hr
Responsibilities:
Prepare and post monthly recurring journal entries.
Review and analyze transactions and contracts for proper accounting treatments and reclass
Support inter-company transactions (update support files based on contract, send and follow up on invoices and open items).
Manage / track invoice streams and invoice delivery process from vendor to other AP staff.
Process invoices and expense reports for the company in an accurate and timely manner.
Support the monthly closing process, including various accruals while meeting global closing deadlines.
Assist other AP staff during the month-end closing of financial records related to AP including monthly accruals.
Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit.
Qualifications:
3+ years of accounting experience. Experience should include audit and/or GL/AP accounting.
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look, Data Cleansing).
SAP experience is a plus.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
Ability and desire to embrace ambiguity, problem solve, and deliver solutions.
A results-oriented team-player with a proactive and positive can-do attitude.
Preferred qualifications/Nice to have:
SAP experience is a plus.
Experience in high volume public company a plus.
