ManpowerGroup Assembly Worker II in Mount Vernon, Indiana
Our client is seeking an Assembly Worker to join their team. As an Assembly Worker, you will be part of the Assembly Team supporting the Production Department. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Background, Adaptive to changes in work orders, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Worker
Location: Mt Vernon, IN
Pay Range: $23/hr
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
* No long term Opportunity, Plant is closing at the end of the year
What’s the Job?
Perform tasks required to position, install, attach, and apply parts per general procedures and to specified quality requirements
Complete tasks by following work instructions, process sheets, check sheets, photos, and carrying out assignments given by Supervisor in an efficient manner
Use assembly tools such as torque wrench, air-impact, hydraulic leak test equipment, etc.
Perform minor rework as required to detail parts and components to permit proper assembly
Drive fork truck and handle loads safely
What’s Needed?
2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production setting
Ability to work with computers and software systems
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Ability to perform each essential duty and physical requirements satisfactorily
Must be able to effectively prioritize work tasks and requirements
