Northwind Investments Inc. Crew Member in Mount Pleasant, Michigan

Job Duties: Responsible for providing exceptional guest service while working closely with the Restaurant Managers and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures. This position operates under the direction of the General Manager, Assistant Managers, and Shift Coordinators. This position has direct interactions with Guests and members of the field operations team.

Job opportunity is temporary and full-time. Twelve (12) positions open

Position Requirements: Will be required to greet guests with a smile while receiving orders and processing payments; prepare and package food and drink products; responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant at all times including dining room, restroom & exterior; maintains health and safety standards in work areas; unloads and stocks inventory items as needed; prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts; and follows uniform and grooming standards and policies. Ability to communicate in English. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. No prior experience or education is required.

Equipment/tools/supplies will be provided at no cost.

One shift meal at Burger King will be provided each day; no deductions from pay for shift meals. Housing available at $150.00 per week, is optional, and will be deducted from bi-weekly payroll in addition to other deductions authorized by law. Neither a condition of employment.

Period of employment: Nine (9) + months (April 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025)

Employer will offer 40 hours per week. Full time. Shifts of 8 hours: 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., or 4:00 p.m. -- 12:00 a.m. Shift times / lengths and days of week may vary. Business is open 7 days a week.

Rate of Pay: $15.00--$18.00 per hour

Overtime: $22.50---$27.00 per hour as applicable

Raises available based on performance.

A single work week will be used for computing wages due.

Workers will be paid bi-weekly.

Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law.

Employer will guarantee payment for three-fourths of the work week hours (averaged over a 6- or 12-week period) regardless of actual hours worked, unless worker fails to report for work.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Subsistence will be at least $15.88 per day of travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.

Employer will reimburse worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker.
