Job Title: Preschool Intervention Specialist - Park Avenue Elementary Location: Mount Gilead Exempted Village Schools, Ohio Job Description: Mount Gilead Exempted Village Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Park Avenue Elementary Preschool Intervention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with preschool-aged children to provide targeted interventions and support to enhance their learning experience. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for preschool students based on assessment data. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student's academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. - Provide direct instruction to students in both one-on-one and small group settings. - Monitor and track student progress using data-driven methods. - Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' goals and objectives. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interventions and progress. - Stay current with best practices and research in early childhood education and intervention strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field. - Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License or ability to obtain one. - Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in an educational setting. - Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
