ManpowerGroup Janitor - Alt Shift in Moses Lake, Washington
Our client, Americold is seeking for a sanitation associate to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the warehouse, dock areas, freezer areas, and associate break areas to company standards and safety protocols.
Job Title: Sanitation
Location: WA102 Moses Lake, 3245 Road "N" NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Essential Responsibilities
Warehouse Cleaning: Use hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to clean the warehouse to company standards.
Trash Removal: Empty and clean trashcans daily.
Breakroom Maintenance: Clean breakrooms and other work areas assigned.
Pallet Repairs: Perform minor repairs on pallets as needed.
Furniture Adjustment: Move and adjust office furniture when necessary.
Pest Control Oversight: Ensure pest control systems function effectively and report issues to supervisors.
Seasonal Maintenance: Remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lots as needed.
Groundskeeping: Keep company grounds free of litter and debris.
Trailer Cleaning: Wash and sweep the insides of trailers and railcars.
Safety Practices: Work safely and report hazards to the shift supervisor.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum of three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Problem-solving skills for routine issues.
Understanding of safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent use of hands to handle objects, standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or taste and smell.
Exposure to extreme cold and moderate noise levels in the warehouse.
Additional Job Details
Must have prior cleaning experience and the ability to work independently.
Steel-toe boots are required.
Forklift experience preferred.
Background check and drug test required.
