Ski Sawmill Family Resort Inc Head of Maintenance in Morris, Pennsylvania
Ski Sawmill Family Resort in Morris, PA is looking for someone to join our team as a Head of Maintenance. This is a FT, year round position that would include health care benefits and vacation. Our small, family run ski resort operates a skiing facility from mid-November through March. In the off-season, we focus on yearly equipment and lift maintenance in order to provide safe operations to our guests. We also hold several archery festivals in the summer months and have lodging facilities that are open year-round.
Qualified candidates should have:
Strong mechanical background - ability to service vehicles, outdoor equipment, groomers and ski lifts.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to troubleshoot in a variety of situations.
Follow and maintain national ANSI code safety standards for our ski lifts.
Have good organizational and record keeping skills.
Work safely from heights and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Willing to work outside in inclement weather when necessary.
Supervisory experience to assist with employee scheduling, training and oversight.
Basic building construction knowledge to assist with minor repairs throughout the facility.
Welding experience a plus.
Pay based on qualifications and experience. Specific training related to the ski industry will be available to qualified candidates.
