Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will use your knowledge, skills, and effort to safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain facility equipment and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain facility equipment and infrastructure.

  • Utilize preventative maintenance processes on all facility equipment.

  • Utilize Lean tools (RCCM, 5-whys, A3, etc.) to improve downtime.

  • Conduct repairs on building infrastructure, including doors, windows, floors, walls, and roofs.

  • Maintain facility electrical systems, including lights, outlets, and circuit breakers.

  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when required for specialized repairs or services.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with machine operating, preferably at least 6 months.

  • Knowledge of injection molding processes.

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Spanish speaking is acceptable.

Work Environment

Our facility can be extremely hot during the summer months and is consistently loud due to the operation of machines and forklifts. You will be standing for the entire shift and will rotate to three new machines after lunch. While we strive to provide a 3-day notice for overtime, there may be instances where only short notice is possible.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
