Lowe's Senior Director, Corporate Facility Management in Mooresville, North Carolina

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the operations, maintenance, and support services for Lowe's Store Support Centers (SSC), stores, and other corporate facilities across Lowe's geographically disbursed portfolio (corporate offices and stores) throughout the U.S. Primary responsibilities include leading and directing the strategic and tactical operations of support services and vendor management for corporate offices and stores, and predictive/preventative maintenance programs for all asset classes, strategic general facility management functions for corporate facilities. This role is critical to the strategic oversight of maintaining and updating portfolio facility service plans at all offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic direction and drives performance/execution of third-party vendors.

  • Manages operational functions within the facilities department aligned to the strategic plan.

  • Leads the development and approval of an annual operating and 5-year capital improvement plans for support services and regional offices.

  • Oversees work order management systems (service channel, service now, WISP, etc.)

  • Leads and implements SSC energy conservation program, management plan, and savings initiatives (both systems & use related) to manage and reduce this significant expense.

  • Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of OSHA and environmental rules/regulations as it pertains to operating a corporate campus and critical and non-critical facility operations.

  • Accountable for ensuring vendor compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Works cross-functionally with store leadership to identify and correct areas of opportunity.

  • Drive process improvement to increase operational effectiveness which includes reviewing systems, work orders, policies and procedures.

  • Reviews scope and budget of projects, establish priorities and ensure projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Drives innovation across the team using a deep understanding of how the Corporate Facilities Maintenance team works within the organization.

  • Oversees the Facility support services staff and 3rd Party vendors to ensure high operational standards are maintained at SSC facilities at all times (cleanliness, maintenance, service s, etc.)

  • Hires, trains and develops the talent necessary to achieve stated business goals.

  • Manages key outside service providers and conduct regular meetings to discuss performance, expectations and provide general updates. Ensure all vendors maintain Lowe’s standards of service.

  • This position manages/supervises people

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and 8-10 years experience in managing facilities, operations and support services for a diverse and geographic portfolio.

  • 8-10 years leadership experience with direct report responsibility

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior- leadership (VP and above)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Business or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and Experience working in and managing a large scale corporate office/campus environment, and store operations
