Job Description
We have two openings for a Maintenance Technician role on different shifts: 7p-7a nights on a 2-2-3 rotation. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $30-40, contingent upon interview results. This is a contract position with a duration of approximately one year, as the plant will be shutting down towards the end of the year. Your responsibilities will involve assisting with production and machine breakdowns, as well as helping in the process of dismantling machinery as the plant prepares to close. You will also be working closely with PLC's, though no programming is required.
Hard Skills
Mechanical and electrical skills and experience
10+ years experience as a maintenance technician
Experience working with PLC's (programming not required)
Experience in preventive maintenance based on work orders
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, cylinders, valves
Experience with automated equipment
Experience replacing up to 480 volt motors
Soft Skills
Ability to work in a multi-craft environment
Ability to keep up with production demands
Ability to work on a contract basis
Job Type

Work Environment
The plant environment is non-climate controlled and can be dirty.
