Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Salesforce Field Service - Business Process Owner.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

As a part of its' digital productivity strategy, Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) invested into Salesforce Field Service to drive consistency w/n a distributed workforce and increase capacity in support of anticipated rapid growth. The Salesforce Field Service Business Process Owner serves as key member to executing that strategy by serving as the primary liaison between Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) users or potential users and IT business analysts and developers for the Salesforce Field Service product with two primary objectives, (1) support the deployment of Field Service to additional users w/n EESS and (2) delivering enhancements and/or new capabilities to the business to drive increased capacity, efficiencies and/or revenue. Equally important, this role is responsible for providing a high-level of support for existing users through the creation of training documentation and/or conducting training sessions, capturing and communicating best practices and being highly engaged in any other support processes designed to build organizational capability for Field Service throughout the Division.

In this position you will;

  • Identify and document business requirements and anticipated business benefits through collaboration with business stakeholders and super users through various activities which could include, but not limited to, value stream mapping / process mapping, interviews, process walks / observations

  • Responsible for managing assigned user stories (business requirements) from creation through development.

This includes;

  • Documenting business requirements in the format of a user story

  • Prioritizing user stories based on anticipated value the functionality will deliver to the business

  • Working with IT business analysts and Salesforce developers to refine & groom user stories in order to get the user story to a state where the requirement is ready for development

  • Working with Business Process Owners in other service organizations w/n Eaton to globally align on business requirements to drive standardization

  • Testing functionality and validating the development of the user story in a test environment to ensure business requirements are met

  • Build a personal strong understanding of Salesforce Field Service functionality (e.g. Work Order Management, Scheduling, Installed Base, Service Contracts, etc.) to ideate on how business processes can be improved and/or business problems solved

  • Support the development of training documentation (e.g. work instructions, presentations, videos, etc.) and/or the delivery of training for new users

  • Be responsive to requests for support from existing users through engagement in our various support mechanisms including, but not limited to, Viva Engage, MS Teams, enhancement request process

  • Work with other EESS business units to develop deployment and training plans to support implementation of Salesforce Field Service

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 5 years experience OR 10+ years relevant industry experience in lieu of degree

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working for a field service organization

  • Experience with agile project management tools such as Atlassian Jira or Microsoft Azure

  • Experience with Salesforce Field Service

  • Experience leveraging the change management methodologies such as ADKAR

  • Experience with Agile software development approaches
