Montrose Regional Health Materials management provides the, supplies and equipment needed by health personnel to deliver health services . The right, supplies and equipment must be at the right place, at the right time and in the right quantity in order that our personnel can deliver high quality health services.
About The Career:
Senior Buyer must be able to successfully complete all duties of Materials Management 3, 2 and 1. Re-supply all carts/areas serviced by the department including the Operating Room. Places orders correctly through phone, email, FAX and EDI. Updates ERP materials module product dictionary as necessary, brings pricing discrepancies to the attention of vendor and updates appropriately. Processes both nonstock and stock orders and is expected to resolve invoice problems pertaining to price and qty. Senior buyer must know how to create new items, create conversions, and delete obsolete items in ERP materials module. Senior Buyer is the supervising buyer for clinical buyers. Senior Buyer manages Surgical Services physical inventory, consignment Inventory and Bill Only process. Senior Buyer knows how the various inventories interact and knows how to explain variances. Senior Buyer can handle all facets of the job with little to no assistance. Leader of quality improvement team and offers solutions to problems. Assist director in creating internal processes. All About You :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Training & Experience: Prefer 10-key skills. Prefer 5 years of healthcare experience. Prefer 5 years Supply Chain experience in healthcare setting
