Nestle Sustainability Marketing Manager (6-month contract) in Montreal, Canada

What to Expect:

The Sustainability Marketing Manager is a key player in Nespresso Canada's sustainability strategy. They champion global sustainability goals and Canadian objectives, recommending strategies to enhance our brand's sustainability credentials and make a positive impact locally. They act as both a Sustainability Guardian, ensuring ethical and responsible operations, and a Sustainability Marketer, promoting meaningful initiatives to consumers. They also play a role in developing team knowledge and engagement to elevate our leadership and drive optimal results.

A day in the life:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive CSR strategy aligned with company values and goals, identifying and prioritizing relevant social and environmental issues.

  • Lead marketing projects and campaigns supporting sustainability efforts, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to CSR and sustainability, conducting audits and providing guidance to internal teams.

  • Manage interactions with global and regional sustainability teams, building relationships with external stakeholders and implementing engagement strategies.

  • Create and refine key performance indicators to measure CSR impact, gather and analyze data, and prepare reports for management and external stakeholders.

  • Support employee education on CSR principles and foster a culture of social responsibility within the organization

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide

  • University degree in Marketing, Business or related field

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a similar marketing or sustainability role within a fast-moving consumer or luxury goods industry

  • Experience in marketing sustainability (product innovation, recycling programs)

  • Proven experience in Communications and/or corporate affairs

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of international brand presence

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong attention to details & organizational skills

  • Demonstrates analytical skills and abilities to deliver results

  • Strong ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects at once
