Overview
Are you a focused and driven B2B sales professional looking to join a knowledgeable, committed team ? Do you excel in communication and have a strong grasp of B2B sales processes?
If so, we’re seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to join our GCG's Connectivity and Network Solutions team . In this role, you will harness your exceptional communication skills and B2B sales expertise to drive revenue growth and build lasting business relationships with both new and existing customers . You’ll work closely with our Inside Sales Manager and members of our outside sales team to fortify our Connectivity and Network Solutions division as a trusted partner and distributor of choice for our customers.
Work Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time Mon-Fri
Location: 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave Chicago, IL
What you’ll do
Develop in-depth familiarity with GCG communications product suite to provide customers with best-in-class solutions
Nurture relationships with existing GCG customers to increase sales revenue as product offerings continue to expand
Research and prospect for new business leads and expanded business opportunities within targeted markets utilizing a consultative sales approach that facilitates return business
Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with customers and vendors as book of business steadily grows
Demonstrate all aspects of sales process including cold calling and prospecting, handling of objections, closing, and follow-up
What you’ll bring
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service orientation and follow up skills with ability to quickly learn new product line
3 to 4 years of business-to-business sales, preferably within distribution or manufacturing
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically, TEAMs, Outlook, and Excel
Previous CRM experience strongly preferred
