About the Position
Seeking Carpenters with a broad construction background, specifically experience in concrete and mechanical scopes.
The Carpenter will frequently bend, reach, stand, walk, squat, sit, push, and pull heavy objects throughout the work shift. Ability to work in the sun, heat, and various climate conditions. Ability to work in dirty and dusty conditions. Requires manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment and perform manual responsibilities. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds without assistance. Must be able to work with materials that include chemicals on occasion. May assist other craft workers.

Layout
Setting grades and squaring up structures
Plan reading and material take-offs
Concrete knowledge
Placement of foundations, flatwork, and vertical structures
Understanding pressures, finishing, and curing
Formwork Knowledge
Wood, gang, and shoring form
Ability to climb forms, work at heights, and confined spaces
Setting large gang forms with hoisting equipment

Compensation & Benefits
Wage range - $ 53.95-$54.15 an hour DOE
Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment
Project location, details, and commitments
Project Location – Monroe, WA
Project Duration – Starts June 2024 – 2 year project
Project Scope - IMCO is performing improvements on the City of Everett’s freshwater treatment plant. Major improvements include flocculation basin improvements and expansion, replacement of storage tanks, extensive conveyance pipeline, and control valve improvements. Work will involve significant bypass systems to maintain daily operations at the plant. Concrete work includes large walls and retrofitting to existing structures. Setting slide gates, and building new commercial buildings. The project also includes large-scale excavations and large HDPE bypass piping.
8–10-hour shifts
Overtime may be available
Requirements & Qualifications
Current and valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
Knowledge and understanding of how to read plans and drawings with basic math skills to assist ground personnel with cuts and fills is a plus
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Ability to perform the tasks listed above
