Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Monroe, Michigan
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Monroe, Michigan for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is pivotal in our finance team, where you will be responsible for customer billing and collection, report generation, account reconciliation, among other duties related to the organization's accounts receivable function.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process invoices, ensuring they comply with financial policies and procedures
• Prepare, review, and distribute customer invoices and statements
• Assist with month-end closing processes and annual audits
• Contact clients to facilitate payments on overdue accounts, while adhering to professionalism and customer service protocols
• Prepare bank deposits and maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Respond to client inquiries and handle complaints or discrepancies in a timely manner
• Reconcile customer accounts and update as necessary
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Manage tight deadlines and multiple tasks while maintaining high performance standards
• Utilize skills such as 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Billing Collection', 'Cash Collections', 'Collecting Payments', 'Collections' in the effective delivery of your role. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
