They will handle diverse design engineering tasks of moderate complexity, focusing on medium sub-systems design projects under guidance from the manager. Responsibilities include researching, designing, developing, testing, and installing various complex apparatus, components, equipment, and machinery. Additionally, they will design, construct, and operate machinery and collaborate with engineers, service, and sourcing personnel to ensure optimal equipment utilization.\ \ What Youll Do:

- - Take projects from the analysis of the clients needs through project specification, concept, design, test and installation.

{=html} <!-- --> - - Responsible for medium sub-system design projects working through verbal or written communication from the Engineering Manager.

{=html} <!-- --> - - Develop the appropriate documentation (BOMS, ECNs and REAs) to support engineering in the development, design or modification of products as required.

{=html} <!-- --> - - Develop and monitor the project budget and schedule utilizing design skills and project management expertise.

{=html} <!-- --> - - Travel as required to evaluate projects, install and troubleshoot engineering modifications, and offer assistance to other departments (up to 10%).

{=html} <!-- --> - Manage medium design projects with support of Mechanical Engineer I, IIs, and shop personnel.

Who You Are:

  • A creative thinker who can multi-task and enjoy solving problems and implementing solutions.
  • Someone with the ability to research, design, develop, test and install a wide variety of complex apparatus, components, equipment and machinery.

What Youll Need:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience
  • Three to seven years of machine design experience
  • Solid working knowledge / experience with manufacturing practices, assembly procedures, and machine and mechanical mechanism design
  • Proficiency in design using Auto Cad Inventor or another 3D software.
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions, prioritize projects, and complete critical items in a timely fashion.
