Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive product efforts in support of Canadian Issuing Solution; including but not limited to management of day-to-day debit card issuing solution; mobile wallet solutions, co-badge debit solution and transaction processing and fraud monitoring solutions; as well as development of new Issuing solutions and Client requested enhancements to solutions

  • Support ATM as a Service (ATMaaS) solution; including developing and managing solution enhancements from ideation to launch; develop base solutions, expanded offerings, professional service opportunities; ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule

  • Define and quantify value that Issuing Services bring to our customers and industry; quantify positive impact on customers and build into value positioning

  • Produce business and product requirements documents, solutions guides, sales tools, supporting sales collateral and go-to-market plans

  • Determine pricing by utilizing market data; reviewing operational and technical costs; anticipating/projecting growth; costing special and customized deals; develop pricing models with Finance and expand market pricing knowledge of competitors

  • Manage/monitor Issuing Solution financial results – pipelines and progress relative to plans

  • Determine and maintain a clear definition of solution market size, position, segments served and business opportunity; develop market/competitive intelligence and understanding

  • Define, develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps by analysing feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products

  • Expand market share by working with sales team to develop sales strategies

  • Brief and train the sales force periodically and present at sales meetings; perform product demos to customers; serve as matter expert; assess product value position through customer presentations/meeting and working with sales team

  • Develop a solid understanding of Issuing Solutions and ATMaaS benefits including – hardware, software, processing, networks, operations and security

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Qualifications

  • Degree(s) in the field of Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing and/ or Technology from an accredited institution; or equivalent knowledge gained through experience

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Solution/Product Manager, Developer or similar role

  • Knowledge regarding – Product requirements analysis, pricing, planning, competitive analysis, sales, financial analysis and strategy

  • Experience in product lifecycle management

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

  • Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

  • 3-5 years' experience required, 5+ preferred
