Our NIH-funded research programs incorporate techniques in electrophysiology, intracranial pharmacology and genetics, neuromodulation, and behavioral analysis. While prior relevant experience is desirable, our lab is an excellent training environment for those interested in developing new skills. Job Description: 90% Project leadership on one or more efforts centered on the elucidation of molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying experience-induced neuroplasticity; manuscript and fellowship writing 10% Assistance with general lab functions (chores, organization, maintenance), active participation in group meetings, mentorship of students Qualifications Required Qualifications: PhD in a life science Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency with one or more of the following: electrophysiological methods, OMICs technologies, mouse behavioral methods and analysis, intracranial manipulations in rodents, molecular biology, or protein biochemistry About the Department Pharmacology is the study of drugs and the mechanisms underlying their beneficial and undesirable effects.
