Overview: Our finance coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate data entry and periodic review processes. Responsibilities include setting up new timekeepers and matters, managing soft cost entries, and collaborating closely with the Pricing Manager on billing tasks. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a supportive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Include: Set up new timekeepers and corresponding matters in our system. New Business Intake forms (set up special items from FredOpen form on new matters i.e. special rates, SD tax, e-billing, etc.) Soft cost entry (postage, Westlaw, E-Discover, etc) - postage is updated weekly while the others are updated monthly. Research return mail and make appropriate changes. Making time adjustments as needed, either through time correction email or par adjustments. Work with Pricing Manager on emailing Billing Attorneys with rate exception information and tracking and entering follow ups from those emails. Update existing timekeepers department / division / terminations so the data is correct in the system and flows to our other systems smoothly. Filling out supplier / vendor set up forms for our clients to pay us. Work on data cleanup from conversion. Develops and maintains a cooperative working relationship with members of the firm, clients and other outside contacts. Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: High school diploma Minimum of 2 years of professional experience Strong communications skills in all formats. Ability to anticipate and balance the workload based upon general guidelines established. Ability to meet short and/or unpredictable deadlines. A team-player mentality. Consistently projects a positive, professional attitude and approach to the job, the Firm and co-workers.
